This Privacy Policy explains how Saphron (“Saphron”, “we”, “us” or “our”) collects, uses, discloses and safeguards your information when you use TaskerAI (the “Service”), available at taskerai.saphron.tech. By accessing or using the Service, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Policy.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Account & authentication information

We offer sign-in through third-party identity providers, including Google Sign-In. When you authenticate, we receive a limited set of profile information from the provider, namely:

your name;
your email address;
your profile picture (if available); and
a unique identifier (such as your Google account ID and OpenID subject) used to associate your sign-ins with your account.

We request only the basic openid, email and profile scopes needed to create and authenticate your account. We do not request access to your Gmail, Google Drive, Calendar, Contacts or any other Google service data.

1.2 Content you create

When you use the Service you create content such as projects, epics, tasks, backlog items, brainstorms, comments, effort estimates and related metadata (“Workspace Content”). We store this content so the Service can function for you and your team.

1.3 Usage & technical data

We automatically collect certain technical information when you use the Service, such as your IP address, browser type, device information, the pages you visit and timestamps. We use this information to operate, secure and improve the Service.

1.4 Billing information

If you purchase a paid plan, payments are processed by our payment processor, Stripe. We do not collect or store your full payment card details on our servers; that information is handled directly by Stripe under its own privacy policy.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

create, authenticate and secure your account;
provide, maintain and improve the Service;
operate team workspaces and multi-tenant access controls;
process payments and manage subscriptions;
communicate with you about your account, including service and security notices; and
comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.

3. Google User Data & Limited Use

Our use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements. Specifically:

we use Google user data only to provide and improve the sign-in and account features described above;
we do not sell Google user data, and we do not use it for advertising;
we do not transfer Google user data to third parties except as necessary to provide the Service, comply with applicable law, or as part of a merger or acquisition; and
we do not allow humans to read Google user data unless we have your consent, it is necessary for security or to comply with law, or the data has been aggregated and anonymized.

4. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only:

with other members of your workspace, to the extent Workspace Content is shared within your team;
with service providers who process data on our behalf (such as our cloud hosting, database and payment providers) under appropriate confidentiality obligations;
when required by law, regulation, legal process or enforceable governmental request; and
in connection with a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, in which case we will notify you of any change in ownership or use of your information.

5. Data Retention

We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time (see Section 7). We may retain certain information where required for legal, accounting or security purposes.

6. Data Security

We use industry-standard administrative, technical and physical safeguards designed to protect your information, including encryption in transit. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Your Rights & Choices

Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, export or delete your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, or to delete your account and associated data, contact us at hello@saphron.tech. You can also revoke TaskerAI’s access to your Google account at any time via your Google Account permissions page.

8. Children’s Privacy

The Service is not directed to children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can delete it.

9. International Users

We operate the Service from, and store data in, the United States and other locations. By using the Service, you consent to the transfer of your information to countries that may have data protection rules different from those of your country.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, notify you. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.
